Rosaire Court and
Rosaire Gardens will be managed by a dedicated and trained team of staff
from Housing 21.
Housing 21 is one of the country's leading not-for-profit specialist providers
for older people with an impressive track record in the delivery of quality
housing, care and support services.
Housing 21 has developed an holistic approach to supporting older people
in sheltered and extra care housing. Housing management, care and support
services are delivered through a full time Court Manager, who may also be
resident at the scheme. The Court Manager will be supported by an Assistant
Court Manager and by a trained team of care and support staff whose sole
purpose is to promote residents' independence and wellbeing.
Care and support will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with staff
on duty at night should residents require out-of-hours support or care.
Housing 21 offers its care and support staff extensive job development programmes
to ensure a high standard of service. For instance,
A 6-month
accreditation course for managers and supervisors
in care requirements and standards
Training for all staff
through the national care training team
Regularly reviewed policies
and procedures which meet and exceed
national care standards
Specialist
support from care managers in supporting people with special needs
such as visual impairment, dementia, mobility problems, etc.
Each resident at Rosaire Gardens or Rosaire Court who has been assessed
as having a need for care or support will have an individual care/support
plan. Frequent feedback from residents about the care and support service
will be sought to ensure continuing high standards of service.
